Customer Praise Goes to the Staff and Our Service at Hog King
At Hog King we are always looking for new ways to improve. Even after three decades of catering we reckon you can still always teach an old dog new tricks, and so we go direct to our customers after their events with us to see what parts of the service they enjoyed and where the believe there could have been improvements made.
These testimonials more often than not come back to us with glowing praise. Even that is extremely helpful for us in improving because it shows us exactly where our strengths lie. If customers are regularly highlighting the same things in their testimonials then we know that is an aspect that we should put more energy into and make even stronger. You have to lean into your strengths, after all, just as much as you should be looking to eliminate any weaknesses.
As for those weaknesses, we have found more and more that less of them get mentioned. Perhaps around thirty years ago a Hog King testimonial may have looked quite different to what we get now. When our team was just starting out there would have been much more trial and error at play. Now we have done all of the trialling, made the errors, and now we know exactly how to serve each and every customer to get those glowing reports back.
What we have loved lately, however, is particular praise for some of our youngest members of staff. The Hog Roast TOWN team is made up of all ages. We have our old blood here that have been with us for years, if not decades in some cases, but we always like a good influx of fresh faces to keep our team on its toes. This way we get to train up a new generation of caterers and keep hopefully keep the Hog King name running for at least another thirty more years. With the praise that these young staff members are getting now, we suspect that the testimonials in another three decades will somehow look even better than they do now for Hog King!
